Now, I love this postcard for a number of reasons. My mother found this at a favorite
consignment shop back home and bought it for my birthday. It's a nice reminder of home,
and I love the colors. The back of this postcard says it was Made in Germany, which is a
little odd, no?

This postcard of the Old Mill Horticulture Gardens is from 1933! It's really cool that we can
become connected to history through these small relics. In an age where everything is newer,
bigger, stronger, better, it's nice to step back and reflect on simpler ideas and appreciate the
small things.

FOUND PHOTO FRIDAY

Phew! What a week it has been. It's been relatively productive for me: I completely redesigned my resume, redesigned and ordered new business cards, and am in the middle of a project that I really can't wait to share with you. But it'll have to wait. As for this image, I don't have much to say about it except that I love the colors in it, and I found it while sifting through old postcards in a vintage shop with my father, who I get to see in less than two weeks!!
