Tidbits of Happiness
I love that little things can brighten up a person's day in an instant. The work
and mission of Improv Everywhere is to create situations that bring people
together, and often make people smile in the meantime. Charlie Todd discussed
how he got started with it all in this fascinating talk, and I've been enamored
ever since. We need more ideas like this in the world. As Todd says, "There's
no right or wrong way to play."

GIRLS' WEEKEND
This past weekend I decided to escape the NATO craziness happening in Chicago, and hopped on a train to Michigan to hang with my favorite ladyfriends. It was one of those perfect relaxing weekends: making breakfast burritos together, hanging on the beach, antique shopping, eating seafood on the water and reminiscing about college days. Oh, and dancing. There's always dancing. It really got me pumped for the rest of summer. Despite the fact that we all live in different cities now, it's comforting to know that I still have two incredible, smart women in my life to keep me grounded. I couldn't ask for better friends.

NEW WORK / THIS SIDE OF WITTY
Photos by High Fives for Everyone
This weekend I had the pleasure of photographing This Side of Witty, a comedy group my dear friend Annie performs in. Photographing actors is so much fun because they know how to take direction, and are really aware of their bodies. Plus, after looking through all the photos, I also realized that they naturally create their own stories throughout the period of the shoot. Add the fact that these guys are comedians! It was a great way to spend Sunday, and it just solidifies even more why I love Chicago.
Here's a sneak peak of the shoot, if you wanna see more, they'll be up on my facebook page soon. Did you know I have a facebook page? Yup!
